WOMEN'S HEALTH HUB
The Women's Health Hub pilot was a joint project involving the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, the Berkshire West Primary Care Alliance, and regional Healthwatch groups. The initiative focused on unifying health pathways for women, enhancing the quality of medical experiences, and fostering local healthcare leadership. The Trust serves as a major acute care provider in England, with gynaecology units in Reading, Bracknell, and Thatcham. The Alliance consists of 30 GP practices throughout the region, while Healthwatch acts as an advocate for service users. While the pilot successfully tested scalable modules in Reading and Wokingham focusing on menopause and pessary care, the Integrated Care Board has since ended funding. However, we are pleased to confirm that specialized menopause support remains available through September 2025.

Securing an appointment with our specialist clinicians is a simple process. Most pathways require a formal recommendation from your community GP. Please schedule a standard consultation with your doctor to talk about your concerns; if suitable, they will send a referral to our hub. Our health team will assess the case and reach out shortly.
